Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Abdulaziz Al Zouba, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, to discuss the relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Yemen.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, which took place at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, both parties reviewed the latest developments in Yemen. They also discussed ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability, as well as support for peace and development initiatives in the region.
The GCC Secretary-General expressed the Council's strong commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in Yemen. He also reiterated the GCC's ongoing support for humanitarian and relief efforts designed to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, in coordination with regional and international partners.
