GCC Secretary General Welcomes Oman’s Hosting of Iranian-American Talks

Muscat: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi welcomed the Sultanate of Oman's hosting of talks between Iran and the United States.

According to Qatar News Agency, the GCC Secretary General emphasized that Oman's hosting of these talks reflects its approach to promoting dialogue and building bridges of understanding among nations, as well as its dedication to supporting security and stability in the region.

Albudaiwi also noted that GCC countries consistently seek to find peaceful resolutions to conflicts through their relations with other nations, in addition to presenting initiatives that benefit the peoples of the region and the world.

He stated that they strive to make every effort to promote regional and international peace and security.

The GCC Secretary General expressed his hopes that these talks will lead to results that would contribute to opening avenues for cooperation between Iran and the US, serving the region's security and stability.
