Doha: The General Referendum Committee, led by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who also serves as the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the General Referendum Committee, announced the adoption of the results for the 2024 constitutional amendments referendum. These amendments were proposed by the Executive Committee for the Referendum and have been finalized following the completion of both paper and electronic vote sorting and counting processes, including those conducted through the Metrash2 application. According to Qatar News Agency, the General Referendum Committee expressed gratitude to the country's wise leadership and the Qatari people, acknowledging the success of this national event. The event was seen as a demonstration of unity and cohesion among various segments of Qatari society.
