Spot gold gained 0.3% to $3,345.64 per ounce on Monday, after hitting its lowest level since Aug. 1. US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.3% to $3,391.80. According to Qatar News Agency, other precious metals showed gains as well. Spot silver rose 0.3% to $38.08 per ounce, while platinum gained 0.8% to $1,346.61. Palladium also saw an increase, rising 1.3% to $1,126.85.
