Post: Gold Rises as Dollar and Yields Ease

Doha: Gold prices rose on Thursday as the US dollar and Treasury yields eased, while investors anticipated US nonfarm payrolls data that could help shape expectations for the Federal Reserve's next policy move. Spot gold increased by 0.5% to $4409.97 per ounce after hitting a near one-month low in the previous session. US gold futures also saw a rise of 0.9%, reaching $4455.30 per ounce.

According to Qatar News Agency, other precious metals saw similar gains. Spot silver rose 0.6% to $65.74 per ounce, platinum climbed 0.6% to $1770.88, and palladium gained 0.6% to $1354 per ounce. These movements in precious metals come amid a backdrop of market participants closely watching economic indicators that could influence the Federal Reserve's decisions regarding monetary policy adjustments.
