GPDNet Wraps up 10th General Assembly in Katara

Katara: The Global Public Diplomacy Network (GPDNet) concluded its 10th General Assembly in Katara, on Wednesday. The closing day of the two-day event witnessed the honoring of the participating delegations from 21 countries in the presence of Katara General Manager and GPDNet Chairman Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti. Other senior Katara officials were present.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event featured a lineup of cultural performances that reflected the rich heritage and traditions of the various participating countries, and highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy in enhancing understanding among peoples.

In cooperation with GPDNet, Katara organized a workshop on the impact of the media in building positive environments for a shared global future, as part of its efforts to enhance media and cultural cooperation at the international level, with the participation of an elite group of international media professionals.
