Health Minister meets KDCA Commissioner

Geneva, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, met with Dr. Youngmee Jee, the Commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), on the sidelines of the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. The Minister of Health stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation with other countries and learning from successful experiences, particularly in disease control and prevention methods, to improve the performance of health systems. The meeting discussed topics of common interest, including the exchange of expertise, plans and strategies for controlling disease vectors and preventive programmes. Source: Bahrain News Agency
