QSE Index Gains 219.04 Points at Start of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, recording a gain of 219.04 points, or 2.17%, to reach 10,311 points compared to the previous session's close. This increase was supported by positive performances across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, data from the market indicated notable gains in several sectors. The Consumer Goods and Services sector rose by 1.18%, while the Insurance sector saw an increase of 1.36%. The Transportation sector improved by 1.44%, and the Real Estate sector experienced a rise of 1.50%. The Telecom sector advanced by 1.55%, the Banks and Financial Services sector climbed by 2.28%, and the Industrials sector saw the highest increase at 2.92%.

By 10:00 am, the trading turnover reached QAR 87.107 million, with a total of 44.354 million shares being traded across 4,395 transactions.
