HH the Amir and Turkish President Discuss Regional Security Amid Iranian Aggression

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkiye. According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, President Erdogan expressed concern about the situation in Qatar following the continued Iranian aggression. He reiterated Turkiye's solidarity and full support for Qatar's measures to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability. The conversation also covered the latest regional developments, particularly the ongoing Iranian aggression against Qatar and other countries in the region, highlighting the threat it poses to regional security and stability. Both leaders shared their perspectives on the efforts being undertaken at regional and international levels to halt the escalation and strengthen diplomatic efforts to prevent the crisis from expanding. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation, as well as intensifying cooperation with regional and international partners, to support de-escalation and foster conditions conducive to peaceful solutions through dialogue and diplomatic channels, enhancing regional security and stability.
