New york: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated in the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. The conference took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conference was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses, as well as heads of states and governments. Delegations and representatives from various governmental and non-governmental organizations were also present.
The presence of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with several members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir, underscored the importance of the conference. The event aimed to address the longstanding issue of Palestine and explore avenues for the implementation of a two-state solution.
