Doha: HH the Amir Cup 2025 Bowling Championship (singles mixed), organized by the Qatar Bowling Federation (QBF), will commence at the Qatar Bowling Center Wednesday. Running until November 8, the championship will see a wide participation of Qatari bowlers as well as an elite lineup of international competitors representing 20 countries: Switzerland, the United States, Sweden, Iceland, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Australia, Hong Kong, Jordan, the UAE, Vietnam, Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain, Norway, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Malaysia, and Oman.
According to Qatar News Agency, under the leadership of QBF President Abdulla Al Qatan and the hard work of the organizing committees, all preparations are set to launch a strong and distinguished new edition of this championship, which has a long-standing history of featuring international champions. The championship will begin with a qualification round consisting of nine games where every squad will play three games.
Based on total scores, 40 players will advance to the Top 40 Round, which will consist of: Top 32 players from the preliminary round; Top 2 players from the first two days; Top 2 Qatari youth players; Top 2 players registered in the Qatar Bowling Federation; and Top 2 players from the Desperado Squad. Alongside the main event, an international youth championship will be held, open to players aged 21 years and under.
