Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday. The conversation focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Ukraine, discussing ways to support and develop these relations, and exchanging views on the latest regional developments and the situation in Ukraine.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HE President Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to the State of Qatar for its efforts in reuniting several Ukrainian children with their families in Ukraine. He also conveyed Ukraine's solidarity with Qatar in light of the Israeli attack, highlighting the strong bond between the two nations.
HH the Amir reciprocated by thanking the Ukrainian President for his country's support and solidarity with Qatar, emphasizing the importance of the relationship between the two countries.
