Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Ambassador of the State of Kuwait Khaled Bader Al Mutairi at his Amiri Diwan office on Wednesday morning. The meeting was held as a farewell gesture, marking the end of the ambassador's tenure in the country.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir awarded Al Wajbah Decoration to HE Ambassador Al Mutairi. This was in recognition of his contributions to enhancing the relations between Qatar and Kuwait. HH the Amir also extended his best wishes for the ambassador's future missions and expressed hope that the relations between the two countries would continue to develop and progress.
HE Ambassador Al Mutairi conveyed his gratitude to HH the Amir and the state officials for their cooperation, which he noted was instrumental in the success of his diplomatic mission in Qatar.
