Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President Ahmed Al Shara'a of the Syrian Arab Republic. During the conversation, HE the Syrian President expressed his country's solidarity with Qatar and condemned the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base, labeling it a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE President Al Shara'a emphasized Syria's rejection of any aggression threatening Qatar's security and regional stability. He urged HH the Amir to remain calm and pursue diplomatic resolutions.
HH the Amir thanked HE President Al Shara'a for his support and solidarity with Qatar and its citizens.
