Lusail: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received the credentials of five new ambassadors to the State at his office at Lusail Palace on Tuesday. His Highness welcomed HE Adam Shareef Umar from the Republic of Maldives, HE Hong Ji-pyo from the Republic of Korea, HE Jeta Kreka from the Republic of Albania, HE Bakhyt Batyrshayev from the Republic of Kazakhstan, and HE Maria Camilleri Calleja from the Republic of Malta.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir expressed his well wishes to the new ambassadors, hoping for their success in their duties and for enhanced bilateral relations between Qatar and their respective countries. The new ambassadors conveyed greetings from their countries' leaders and expressed their hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
The ambassadors were welcomed with an official reception ceremony upon their arrival at Lusail Palace, marking the beginning of their diplomatic responsibilities in Qatar.
