Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received the credentials of six new ambassadors to the State at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newly appointed ambassadors include HE Ambassador Josefin Simonsson Broden from the Kingdom of Sweden, HE Ambassador Antonino Maggiore from the European Union, HE Ambassador Artem Kozhin from the Russian Federation, HE Ambassador Marta Huskova from the Czech Republic, HE Ambassador Pensom Lertsithichai from the Kingdom of Thailand, and HE Ambassador Dr. K. Srikar Reddy from the Republic of India.
HH the Amir expressed his welcome to the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their assignments and hoping for further progress and prosperity in the bilateral relations between Qatar and their respective countries. The ambassadors, in turn, conveyed greetings from their countries' leaders and extended wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar. An official reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
