Doha: In their editorials published Thursday, Qatari newspapers highlighted HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's patronage of the graduation ceremony of the eighth batch of cadets from the Police College of the Police Academy yesterday.
According to Qatar News Agency, this patronage reflects His Highness's commitment to building qualified national competencies to support security work and keep pace with the various current challenges.
The editorials also addressed the efforts of the State of Qatar to promote public health, particularly children's health, in light of the Shura Council's discussions on the issue of obesity in society. Meanwhile, Al-Watan newspaper commended in its editorial HH the Amir's patronage of the graduation ceremony of the eighth batch of cadets from the Police College of the Police Academy yesterday, as well as His Highness's honoring of the outstanding students. The Ministry of Interior, across all its departments, is awaiting the joining of the graduates of the eighth batch to its ranks, so that they may embark on police work alongside their colleagues, contributing to presenting an image of the modern security officer who is capable of keeping pace with the security challenges imposed by technological development.
