Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Friday is expected to be hot to very hot during the day, with a possibility of local clouds and rain in certain areas, accompanied by blowing dust at times, the Department of Meteorology stated in its daily weather report.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will be relatively humid and hazy with some clouds. The wind inshore will predominantly be southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 05-15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots in some areas occasionally. Offshore winds are forecasted to be from the southeast to northeast at 05-15 knots, with gusts up to 20 knots at times.
The sea state inshore is expected to range from 1-3 feet, occasionally rising to 4 feet. Offshore, sea conditions will vary between 2-4 feet, rising to 6 feet at times. Visibility inshore is projected to be between 4 - 8 km, possibly reducing to 3 km or less in certain areas at times, while offshore visibility will range from 4 - 9 km.
In terms of tide and temperature forecasts, Doha, Mesaieed, and Wakrah are expected to see high temperatures ranging from 35°C to 42°C. Al Khor will experience temperatures between 31°C and 41°C, while Ruwais will range from 33°C to 39°C. Dukhan is forecasted to have temperatures between 33°C and 43°C, and Abu Samra could see temperatures as high as 46°C.
