Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued Edict (40) of 2024 amending some provisions of Edict (28) of 2006 regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, based on a proposal by the Minister of Interior, and following the approval of the Cabinet. The edict stipulates the following: Article (I) Clause (10) shall be added to Article (I) of Edict (28) of 2006 regarding the establishment and formation of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management, and the remaining clauses of the article will be renumbered accordingly, as follows: 10- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, representing the Ministry of Information. Article (II) The membership of the Director-General of the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) shall be cancelled from the formation of the committee stipulated in Clause (21) of Article (I) of Edict (28) of 2006 regarding the establishment and formation of the National Co mmittee for Civil Emergency Management. Article (III) The Minister of Interior shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall be effective from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
