Doha: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Greece's Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, Sierra Leone's Foreign Minister Alhaji Timothy Musa Kabba, and Slovenia's Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon discussed, in phone conversations on Friday, bilateral relations and developments regarding Iran's nuclear file, particularly the recent move by Britain, Germany, and France against Iran at the UN Security Council.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the calls, Araghchi described the move as 'irresponsible,' emphasizing that his country remains committed to the path of diplomacy, is serious in its approach, and resolute in defending its legal rights.
Stressing the importance of pursuing diplomatic solutions to disagreements over Iran's peaceful nuclear program, Araghchi called on the Security Council to support diplomacy and prevent illegal actions and further escalation of tensions.
For their parts, the three ministers expressed support for diplomacy as the only viable path to resolving international disputes.
