Doha: HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Doha on Monday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held today. His arrival marks a significant diplomatic engagement aimed at addressing pressing regional issues.
According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani. Also present was HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar Ali Salehabadi, symbolizing the strengthening ties between the two nations.
The summit is expected to bring together leaders from across the Arab and Islamic world to discuss and deliberate on matters of mutual concern and cooperation. President Pezeshkian's participation underscores the importance Iran places on regional collaboration and dialogue.
