The statement also highlighted intense fighting that began at 2:20 pm in Aita al-Shaab, where Islamic Resistance fighters engaged Israeli forces using various types of firearms, missiles, and artillery. The clashes are reported to be ongoing. Additionally, at 2:15 pm, the resistance struck an Israeli infantry unit attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of the town of Markaba with artillery fire, responding to what they described as the 'barbaric Israeli aggression' against civilian areas.
