Israel Keeps Breaching Ceasefire Deal in Lebanon by Detonating Homes in Naqoura

Naqoura: The Israeli forces detonated several homes in Naqoura and villages of the western sector in Tyre, in southern Lebanon, in a consistent breach of the ceasefire deal that was reached on Nov. 27, 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli drones were seen hovering over the southern Sidon city at an extremely low altitude. It was noted that the Lebanese army is expected to redeploy and reposition there.

This development coincides with the meeting of the committee supervising the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, which currently convenes with the participation of the United States Special Envoy to Lebanon, Amos Hochstein.

Despite the terms stipulated in the Nov. 27 deal, which included the withdrawal of Israeli forces to the blue line separating Lebanon within 60 days, followed by the deployment of the Lebanese army to the borders, the Israeli forces continue to breach the deal daily.
