Beirut: Lebanese authorities announced Thursday that one person was injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Toul, in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, injured one person.
It is worth noting that a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on Nov. 27 of 2024, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within a 60-day deadline. Accordingly, the Lebanese government agreed to extend the deadline until Feb. 18. However, the Israeli forces maintained their posture in five locations and continue to breach the agreement.
