Doha:Southern Lebanon: Attacks by Israeli forces have persisted in southern Lebanon, with Israeli warplanes launching airstrikes on several towns, accompanied by artillery shelling and explosions in border areas.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the airstrikes targeted towns including the area between Haris and Hadatha in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as Mays Al Jabal. Additionally, powerful explosions were reported in the town of Al Mansouri and on the outskirts of Baraachit and Beit Yahoun, also in the Bint Jbeil district.
A US-brokered framework agreement was signed between Lebanon and Israel on June 26. This agreement includes security arrangements such as the gradual deployment of the Lebanese Army and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, alongside measures for reconstruction and economic recovery. However, the implementation of these terms remains challenging.
