Israeli Forces Persist in Bombing Southern Lebanon Homes

BEIRUT: The Israeli military has continued its bombardment of homes in southern Lebanon, further contravening the ceasefire agreement established in November. The ongoing attacks have intensified tensions and raised concerns over regional stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, field sources have reported that the Israeli occupation army has demolished houses in the town of Aita Al Shaab and ignited fires in homes in the town of Aitaroun, located in the Bint Jbeil district. These actions underscore a persistent pattern of violations against the ceasefire deal.

The Lebanese army recently stated that the Israeli forces continue to breach the ceasefire agreement, originally signed on November 27. This ongoing aggression is perceived as a direct attack on Lebanon’s sovereignty and an attempt to destabilize its southern villages and towns. The presence of Israeli forces in over 30 Lebanese border villages and towns further highlights the severity of the situation.
