Israeli Occupation Continues Assault on Tammun, Al-Fara’a for Seventh Day

Doha: Israeli occupation forces are continuing their assault on the town of Tammun and Al-Fara’a refugee camp in Tubas, West Bank, for the seventh consecutive day. The forces reinforced their military presence, closed off all access points to the areas, and are forcing families to evacuate their homes amid ongoing raids and arrests.

According to Qatar News Agency, Director of the Prisoners’ Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Ouda, reported today that a total of 80 people have been arrested since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on Tammun and Al-Fara’a camp. Of those, 59 have been released, while 21 Palestinians are still in detention.

Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers are continuing to destroy infrastructure in both Tammun and Al-Fara’a, with main water lines still cut off, and large parts of the areas experiencing power outages.

With the ongoing siege, residents of Tammun and Al-Fara’a camp are facing an increasing shortage of essential food supplies. Tammun is also suffering significant agricultural losses as residents are unable to reach their lands and farms, putting many livestock at risk.
