Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest 8 Palestinians in Tubas, West Bank

Tubas: The Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians on Wednesday during the ongoing aggression on Tamoun town, south of Tubas Governorate in the West Bank. The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that the occupation forces have been raiding citizens' homes in the town for the fourth consecutive day, conducting arrests, and carrying out dozens of detentions and field investigations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces continue to besiege and storm the Al Far'a camp and the town of Tamoun, deploying additional reinforcements amid a deteriorating humanitarian situation. The siege has led to a depletion of food and basic supplies, water shortages, and significant destruction of infrastructure and streets by bulldozers.

Arrests in the West Bank have escalated since the start of the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip in October 2023. This has significantly impacted various governorates, affecting thousands of young men and constituting a collective punishment policy against Palestinians in the West Bank.
