According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Sharq editorialized that the Israeli occupation is escalating its crimes against journalists as part of a desperate attempt to erase the Palestinian narrative. The victims in this latest incident were journalists Anas Al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, and cameramen Ibrahim Zaher and Mohammed Noufal, who were targeted while covering the situation in Gaza. The editorial further referenced a statement by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, condemning the deliberate targeting of journalists and highlighting the international community's failure to address these crimes.
Al-Watan's editorial described the assassination of Al Jazeera journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqeh, along with three other crew members, as a brutal crime intended to silence the truth.
