Doha:Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held talks on Sunday with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Al Zouba, who is visiting Jordan, to discuss regional developments and coordination on related issues.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers expressed their support for efforts to de-escalate tensions and restore calm. They aim to achieve a comprehensive solution that ensures lasting security and stability, addresses the root causes of tensions, and respects state sovereignty, the principles of good-neighborliness, and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The ministers also agreed to maintain communication and consultations to strengthen bilateral relations and coordinate on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
