Jordanian and Belgian Foreign Ministers Condemn Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

Doha: Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi met with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot, who is visiting Jordan, to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Safadi and Prevot condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which have resulted in a large number of civilian casualties. They expressed full solidarity with Lebanon and reiterated their unwavering support for its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens. They stressed the urgent need for a ceasefire.

The ministers emphasized the necessity of concerted international efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to Lebanon to address the needs of over one million displaced Lebanese citizens. Additionally, they welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between the US and Iran.
