Beirut First Investigative Judge, Bilal Halawi, on Thursday continued his investigations into the case of former governor of the central bank, Riad Salameh. In today's questioning session, Salameh was opposed to two witnesses, central bank lawyer Michel Tueni and lawyer Issa Khoury. Judge Halawi later adjourned the session until next Tuesday. Salameh's lawyer Marc Hobeika submitted a request to release his client, which Halawi referred to Financial Prosecutor Ali Ibrahim to provide an opinion on the matter.
