Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 7.52 points to reach 8,900.41 points, an increase of 0.08 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 349.2 million shares valued at KWD 88.4 million (roughly USD 286.5 million) exchanged through 28,338 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a slight decline, going down by 2.95 points to 9,105.45 points, a decrease of 0.03 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 219.7 million shares in 16,925 transactions, valued at KWD 42.1 million (roughly USD 136.4 million).
The Premier Market Index showed an upward trend, gaining 10.14 points to reach 9,318.71 points, an increase of 0.11 percent. This was facilitated by the trading of 129.5 million shares through 11,413 transactions, with a total value of KWD 46.3 million (roughly USD 150 million).
In contrast, the Bourse Main 50 Index lost 14.03 points to settle at 10,708.32 points, a decrease of 0.13 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 122.3 million shares executed in 8,473 deals, valued at KWD 24.8 million (roughly USD 80.3 million).
