Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 26.98 points to reach 8,755.37 points, an increase of 0.31 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, 448.8 million shares valued at KWD 113.3 million (roughly USD 346.6 million) were traded via 25,985 transactions. The Main Market Index increased by 32.55 points to reach 8,688.29 points, up by 0.38 percent, with 285.6 million shares exchanged through 14,608 transactions valued at KWD 45.7 million (roughly USD 139.8 million).
The Premier Market Index saw a rise of 27.20 points to reach 9,224 points, up by 0.30 percent, with 163.2 million shares traded through 11,377 transactions valued at KWD 67.5 million (roughly USD 243 million). Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index gained 85.53 points to reach 9,771.16 points, up by 0.88 percent, through a stock volume of 230.9 million shares executed in 10,816 deals at a value of KWD 36.7 million (roughly USD 112.3 million).
