Post: Kuwait Bourse Experiences Decline as All Share Index Falls

Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index lost 9.79 points to reach 8,924.74 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 560 million shares valued at KWD 136.8 million (roughly USD 418.6 million) were traded via 34,146 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 47.81 points, reaching 9,257.01 points, which is up by 0.52 percent, through the trading of 365.8 million shares in 22,931 transactions valued at KWD 63.8 million (roughly USD 195.2 million).

The Premier Market Index, however, experienced a decline, losing 22.56 points to settle at 9,317.21 points, down by 0.24 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 194.2 million shares in 11,215 transactions, with a total value of KWD 72.9 million (roughly USD 223 million).

Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index showed a gain of 143.56 points, reaching 11,065.11 points, up by 1.31 percent. This increase was supported by a stock volume of 308.5 million shares traded in 17,926 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 53.2 million (roughly USD 162.7 million).
