Kuwait Bourse Records Decline in Trading Session

Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index lost 21.82 points to reach 8,659.27 points, a decrease of 0.25 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 403.1 million shares valued at KWD 100.6 million (roughly USD 328.4 million) were traded via 23,307 transactions. The Main Market Index decreased by 8.91 points, reaching 8,532.56 points, which is a 0.10 percent decline. This was achieved through 244 million shares executed via 11,655 transactions with a value of KWD 39.1 million (roughly USD 127.6 million).

The report indicates that the Premier Market Index lost 25.71 points, dropping by 0.28 percent to reach 9,135.59 points. This was accomplished through 159 million shares executed via 11,652 transactions valued at KWD 61.4 million (roughly USD 200.4 million).

Furthermore, the Bourse Main 50 Index experienced a loss of 40.01 points to settle at 9,486.03 points, representing a 0.42 percent decrease. The trading involved a stock volume of 201.4 million shares completed in 8,996 deals at a value of KWD 33.1 million (roughly USD 108 million).
