Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has reiterated its strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Syrian territory, which since Tuesday has targeted several government institutions in Damascus and the southern province of As-Suwayda. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians and injuries to dozens, including women and children.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued Wednesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the assault as a heinous aggression that caused severe damage to infrastructure and public facilities, warning that such actions risk plunging the region into further chaos, instability, and bloodshed. The ministry renewed its call for the international community and the UN Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities by taking firm measures to deter the aggression and hold its perpetrators accountable.
Kuwait also reaffirmed its support for Syria in all efforts aimed at preserving its security, stability, and sovereignty.
