Doha: Kuwait and Lithuania on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the two countries. The MoU was co-signed by Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Sadiq Marafi and Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Audra Plepyte.
According to Qatar News Agency, following the signing, the two sides held the first round of consultations, where they discussed means to enhance relations between the two countries at all levels, especially economic and investment. The two sides also discussed key regional and international issues, as well as opportunities for cooperation in international forums.
