Kuwait Reopens Airspace After Temporary Suspension of Flights

Kuwait city: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced Thursday the resumption of normal air traffic after its temporary and precautionary suspension following the Iranian attacks.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Directorate stated on the X platform that air traffic in Kuwaiti airspace has returned to normal as the circumstances necessitating earlier precautionary measures have ended. It confirmed that operations have resumed at Kuwait International Airport, with flights operating according to the approved schedules.

The Directorate emphasized its commitment to closely and continuously monitoring the situation to ensure the highest levels of safety and security in the airspace. Previously, the Directorate had announced a temporary closure of the airspace due to the Iranian attacks on Kuwait and the potential risks they posed to civil aviation in the region.
