Kuwait city: The total number of certificates of origin for non-oil local exports (Kuwaiti origin) to countries around the world in the first half of 2025 reached 12,647 certificates, with a total value of approximately KWD 1.59 billion (approximately USD 5.17 billion), the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced in a statement on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the statement noted that GCC states led the list with 10,154 certificates, valued at around KWD 913.3 million (approximately USD 2.85 billion). Certificates issued to Arab countries during the first half of 2025 totaled 2,314 for 13 countries, with a combined value estimated at KWD 207.4 million (approximately USD 673.99 million).
Kuwaiti factories export their products to various global markets, starting with GCC states, followed by Arab nations, then European and African nations, and extending to Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
