Lebanese Health Ministry Reports 7 Fatalities and 13 Injuries in Israeli Airstrike on Sidon

Sidon: An Israeli airstrike on Qennarit in Sidon District killed seven people in a preliminary toll, along with the injury of 13 others, among them five children and five women, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier reports from the Lebanese National News Agency indicated that Israeli warplanes conducted intense airstrikes and artillery shelling on Nabatieh city and the contiguous town in southern Lebanon. These attacks resulted in the death of at least five people and caused significant damage to residential neighborhoods.

On Friday, Lebanon experienced a significant military escalation that extended from the south to the Beqaa region in the northeastern part of the country. The escalation was characterized by a series of intensive aerial offensives by Israeli fighter jets, which resulted in 47 deaths and 97 injuries, predominantly affecting villages in Nabatieh.
