Post: Lebanese Parliament Speaker Calls for Monitoring Compliance with Ceasefire Agreement.

Doha: Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, on Monday, called on the technical committee tasked with monitoring the ceasefire agreement with the Israeli entity to urgently enforce Israeli compliance, halt violations, and ensure a withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories. In his statement, Berri highlighted 54 Israeli violations to the agreement while stressing that Lebanon remains committed to its pledges. According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Parliament Speaker refuted claims that Israel's actions post-ceasefire are in alignment with the terms of the agreement, rather considering them as blatant breaches of the agreement, effective since 4:00 am on November 27, 2024.
