Tripoli: Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdel Hamid Dabaiba discussed Monday with the visiting British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa Hamish Faulkner political developments in Libya and means to enhance coordination with international partners on issues of common interest, in accordance with an independent Libyan vision that respects national sovereignty.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Dabaiba stressed the importance of strengthening economic and educational cooperation between the two countries, creating appropriate conditions for the movement of individuals, and facilitating institutional ties. This is particularly relevant in light of the ongoing preparations to reopen Tripoli International Airport, which presents opportunities for direct flights and the facilitation of consular services, thereby reinforcing the strategic partnership.
