Post: Makary discusses Lebanese drama production situation with Maalouf

Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Tuesday received in his office at Tele Liban - Tallet El Khayat, Director and Producer Elie Maalouf, in the presence of TL Assistant Director General Wafaa Haidar and Programs Director Haitham Kalout. Discussions reportedly touched on the current situation of drama production in Lebanon and the obstacles facing this sector. Director Maalouf reviewed the works presented by Phoenix Pictures, especially the historical ones, and heaped praise on the move made by the Minister of Information in recognition of the veteran stars and his efforts to restore the official media role despite the difficult circumstances.
