Damascus, The Israeli aggression on Massyaf area in Hama western countryside on Sunday evening resulted in the martyrdom of 18 citizens and the injury of 37 others, in addition to causing material damage to the infrastructure, electricity networks, water, telephone, sewage lines, roads and machinery. Ministry of Water Resources reported that aggression has caused damage to water projects there, including the interruption of water pumping and electricity supply to the water wells of Al-Kharifat, Khan Jalmidun and Salhab. In turn, director of Telecommunications in Hama, Munib Al-Asfar, revealed that the optical cable was damaged by the attack on the road between Hama and Massyaf, while telecommunications centers in the towns of Wadi Al-Eyoun, Al-Maisara and Shiha were out of service. Director of Hama Electricity Company, Habib Khalil said that the attack caused serious damage to the 66 kv line between the towns of Salheb and Massyaf, and to several lines and networks elsewhere, as well as serious damage to the Massyaf Electricity Department building.
