Doha:The Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that the inshore weather on Thursday will be hot with slight dust in certain areas during the daytime.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will initially be fine but are expected to become hazy with some clouds as the day progresses. There is also a warning for strong winds and high seas in some areas initially.
Inshore winds are predicted to be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 knots, with gusts reaching 25 knots in certain daytime areas. Offshore, winds will start as northwesterly at 15-25 knots, later shifting to northeasterly to easterly at 5-15 knots.
Sea heights are expected to be 2-4 feet inshore initially, decreasing to 1-3 feet. Offshore sea heights will begin at 4-8 feet, dropping to 2-4 feet. Visibility, both inshore and offshore, is anticipated to range from 5 to 9 kilometers.
