Military Parade Highlights High Readiness and Cohesion of Qatari Armed Forces

Doha: The Commander of the Military Parade Center and Commander of the Military Parade Staff, Colonel Faisal Al Mannai, emphasized the exceptional nature of this year's National Day parade, highlighting new segments participating for the first time. This distinction, achieved after a three-year hiatus, resulted from the support and guidance of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai.

According to Qatar News Agency, Colonel Al Mannai noted that the long pause in holding the national parade posed significant challenges, particularly with a new generation assuming responsibility for its preparation and execution. This necessitated enhanced efforts and a collaborative approach among all involved entities, including the Qatari Armed Forces, the Amiri Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya."

Col. Al Mannai explained that the preparation and training for the parade spanned three months, beginning on October 1 and concluding just before National Day. The process involved consultative and coordination meetings among participating entities to unify concepts, distribute tasks, and ensure the parade's total duration did not exceed 49 minutes.

All participants performed their tasks with distinction and competence, reflecting the high discipline and professionalism within the Qatari military. This success is attributed to a longstanding national work process, supported by officials involved in organizing the National Day parade. The new generation demonstrated exceptional efficiency and responsibility, earning admiration from both Qataris and residents.

Col. Al Mannai concluded by emphasizing that the parade's momentum and large public attendance on Doha Corniche signify the deep national spirit of the Qatari people and their strong cohesion with the country's leadership.
