Doha: HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani held meetings today with several representatives from participating countries at the Second Business Forum of Asian Cooperation Dialogue.
His Excellency met separately with HE Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqi Zavqizoda, HE Coordinator for the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ihsaan Afzal, and president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Samad Hassanzadeh.
The meetings dealt with topics of joint interest aimed at enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and industrial sectors, as well as ways to support and develop these areas. They also exchanged views on issues listed on the forum’s agenda.
During the meetings, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the State of Qatar’s successful economic policies in supporting the private sector. He emphasized the incentives, legislations, and
promising opportunities aimed at encouraging investors, businesspeople, and company owners to invest in Qatar.
