Post: Minister of Finance Meets President of Inter-American Development Bank

Washington: HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Ilan Goldfajn on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, held in Washington, D.C. According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting reviewed areas of mutual cooperation and explored avenues for strengthening the partnership between the State of Qatar and the Bank, particularly in the fields of economic development, infrastructure investment, and the support of sustainable projects within the region. His Excellency also participated in a luncheon organized by the Inter-American Development Bank in collaboration with the Qatar Fund for Development. The event featured discussions on enhancing cooperation in the field of sustainable development, supporting development initiatives in emerging economies, and exchanging perspectives on regional and global economic challenges and ways to address them.
