Doha: HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi met with HE Minister of Justice of the Republic of Madagascar Fanirisoa Ernaivo on the margins of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), convened in Doha. Discussions during the meeting focused on avenues for legal cooperation and mutual legal assistance between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Madagascar, as well as various matters on the conference agenda.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening legal ties and exploring collaborative efforts to enhance the judicial frameworks of both nations. The ministers expressed their commitment to fostering a cooperative approach in tackling corruption and advancing legal systems. The Conference of the States Parties to the UNCAC provided a platform for these discussions, highlighting the mutual interest in addressing global corruption challenges.
